I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
You must go through the booking agent/website that you went through in order to change your reservation.
I have a last minute medical, business or family situation and I need to cancel my stay, will I get refunded if I am in the non-refundable period before the check-in date?
As an independent small boutique hotel with a very low number of rooms that is trying to provide a unique experience to our guests, our operating costs per room are running very high, and we therefore are closely subject to our occupancy and room rates to provide such service.
It is very difficult for us to resell particular rooms of specific date at settled rate pertaining that is being released on short term notice. This is the reason why we have strict cancellation policy and that we don't waive our cancelation fee in case of change of plans or emergency. We highly recommend to purchase a travel insurance for any inconvenience or emergency that could prevent visiting una as planned.
What is our cancellation policy?
Depending to the selected rate during the booking process, a penalty fee will apply according to the conditions indicated in their policies (any cancellation must be requested by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, otherwise will be invalid). A credit card fee of 8% will be retained from any refund. Please note that any reservation for Peak season (December 20th to January 10th) is non-refundable and the payment will be charged at the time of the booking in the registered credit card. Group reservations booking two or three suites, are non-refundable aswell.

What is check in/check out time?
Check in is at 3 PM and check out is at 12 noon.
Is my ID/passport required at check in?
We do require presentation of a valid government-issued identification at the time of check-in, your document will be scanned for the check in process.
Do you take a deposit upon check in?
Yes. We collect a 50 USD deposit fee (per night) will be collected according to the conditions indicated in their policies. By completing this booking request, you certify that you are the cardholder and authorize us to charge your credit card automatically with the amount due at that time, These charge will be released from your account within 5 days after check out.
All non-refundable rates will be collected in full upon booking.
We do not accept checks.
What forms of payment are accepted at the hotel?
We accept all major credit cards, we are a cash-free hotel.
It will not be possible to pay in cash at your check-out.
The approved payment methods will be credit or debit cards and/or charge to your hotel room balance. Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Are taxes included in booking/room price?
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and do not include 19% hospitality taxes.

Do you accommodate early check in or Late Check-out?
If your flight arrives very early in the morning of if your flight is depart late at night, we can offer you (based upon availability), a 50% off rate on the morning you arrive (check in) or on the night you have your check out. you still can hold your suite and enjoy for more hours, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org for further information
What type of main entrance access is used by the guests?
Only authorized people have access to the hotel, and to assure a total security to our guests, we use a electronic code at the main entrance, our staff is 24/7 staying at the hotel for your service.
What amenities are in your guest room?

Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
Yes we do have Room service elaborated and cooked by Rosetta’s Chef Elena Reygadas who has received the Latin America’s Best Female Chef award by the renowned San Pellegrino 50 World Best Restaurant jury in 2014.
This service is available from Monday to Saturday from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m, and from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
Do you have elevators?
For structural reasons we don’t have elevators inside the hotel. La Valise Mexico City is hosted in a classical Porfirian house built in 1905 and considered by Mexico City as a historical house, therefore we had to preserve most of its original materials and structure.
Do you have facilities for disabled people?
No, the building consists in 3 floors (one suite per floor), each one accessible only through stairs.
Do you have a spa?
La Valise Mexico City does not have a spa, however we can offer you in room massages services by request with our friends of Glitzi https://glitzi.com.mx/
Do you have Fitness Center?
No, but we have a agreement with Sports World fitness center (5 blocks away) and you only need to let us know when you want to go and we will organize everything, the fee is USD 45 per day.
Does your hotel offer Currency Exchange?
No, we don't propose this service, if you need this service, 10 blocks away from the hotel is located the nearest currency Exchange office, we will be happy to giving you directions.
Do you allow children?
We love kids, unfortunately due to our small size and intimate atmosphere, we only allow children over 12 years old in the hotel.
